Made in part as a series of projects for  more to come!Cloth dynamics were calculated in Poser, then the character was exported to Lightwave (just the untextured mesh). The textures for his armor were created in Photoshop and applied in Lightwave. The sword (a much larger view of the sword can be seen in my gallery) was modeled in Lightwave, as were the bow, arrows, quiver, and clasp for the cloak. The hair, beard, and grass were all done in Lightwave using the Sasquatch plugin. The entire scene was rendered in Lightwave, then loaded into Photoshop for minor postwork and addition of the sunlight. Total time spent: roughly 25 hours, although creation of the sword image in my gallery is not factored in. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure.
